JESS PIPER
I started my professional career in 20….something, working at a publisher’s based in central London at the tender age of 18. This introduction to the professional world kick started a love for the media industry, propelling my ambition to progress within. Sadly, this was not meant to be. The financial climate at the time presented a tough outcome in the form of redundancy. Moving on, I decided the best route was to go to university and ride out the recession, studying Film, TV and Digital Media. After a very short-lived time at University, I decided that my best option was to return to full time work, securing a ‘good job’ being my main objective. My love for the media industry was shelved and so began my life in insurance. The years I spent working for various insurance brokers highlighted a passion for organisation and enjoyment connecting with varied clientele.
After a long stretch in central London, I was presented with an exciting opportunity to return to the world of media in the form of Key Accounts Manager, working for an established supplier. The skills I gained whilst looking after clients within a corporate environment has organically transitioned into my current role within the TV & Film Industry.
